Founded in 2002, Noetic Consultants is a Washington, DC area-based marketing consultancy that strengthens brands and the people who build them. My 25-year career began at the Leo Burnett Company where I worked in account management and strategy for Procter & Gamble, Eli Lilly, The Gap, Lexmark Computers and Hoerchst Marion Rousseau. I founded Noetic Consultants in 2002 with the goal of becoming an effective extension of our clients’ teams. The word “noetic” is related to one’s intellect and thinking. I chose this name for the company because it reflects my team’s commitment to helping clients strategically think through their challenges so that, together, we can take the actions necessary to get to the best possible outcomes. Our clients have included Samsung, PepsiCo, Nike, Marriott, Mayo Clinic and Discovery, Inc. I am also the author of Jack and Jill Went Up the Hill: How Senior Marketers Scale the Heights Through Art and Science, and the creator of the Noetic Art & Science Assessment ™.  I am actively involved in many industry, education and community endeavors:

For over 15 years, I’ve had the pleasure of doing brand management and marketing work for companies like Discovery Communications, Best Buy and Target. At Noetic, I’ve directed diverse client projects centered around brand strategy and research, and overseen strategic plan production and planning cycle construction for AT&T’s Business Council and Marriott Brands Portfolio Planning. A Eugene Kummel Scholar, I received my MBA from Yale University. I’m also on the membership board at the Audubon Naturalist Society.

My background in operations and solution oriented approach led me to Noetic, where I focus on financial management and operational excellence to support our mission to provide high-quality client work.

My interest in marketing was born out of discovering a career path that would blend equal parts business with creative thinking. Early experience on Madison Ave had a galvanizing effect on my trajectory towards omni-channel brand marketing while working on exciting brands such as Microsoft, Hasbro, General Mills, Delta Airlines, Embassy Suites Hotels and Comfort Inn brands. Having honed my skill set in the execution of bringing campaigns to market, my passion quickly evolved upstream to thinking more about the “why” instead of the “how”. A natural affinity for and curiosity about human behavior coupled with my background in advertising and communications became a direct line to analysis, insights and result driven work. I have had a very fortunate 15-year career that began in traditional media, was fortified in digital and now brings me to join a group of talented, strategic thinkers at Noetic.

I began in New York City at Grey and BBDO working on iconic brands for Procter & Gamble, Frito-Lay and Campbell Soup Company before moving to Washington, DC more than fifteen years ago. I spent ten years in the marketing department at Discovery Channel, overseeing campaigns for some of the network’s highest-rated programs including Deadliest Catch, Planet Earth and Shark Week. At Noetic, I have had the privilege of working with clients across various industries on brand strategy, research initiatives and marketing training.

My roles spanned across sales, marketing, business development and operations. At iHeart Media and Time Inc., I was responsible for transforming these established, iconic companies in a dynamic media landscape.  I specialize in executing cross-functional initiatives including corporate branding, client solutions, creative ideation, marketing operations, project management and event strategy. As a consultant for Noetic, my passion is building relationships and empowering our clients through custom solutions that drive results.

I also have experience working with a start-up, which sparked my interest in how companies build their brands and how they connect to customers. I’m excited to dive deeper into marketing strategy and branding at Noetic and apply my journalistic skills to help companies tell their stories.
