Founded in 2002, Noetic Consultants is based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and specializes in marketing strategy, research, and training/facilitation. We work across a variety of industries and practice areas, assisting with our client’s marketing challenges.

My 25-year career began at the Leo Burnett Company where I worked in account management and strategy for Procter & Gamble, Eli Lilly, The Gap, Lexmark Computers and Hoerchst Marion Rousseau. I founded Noetic Consultants in 2002 with the goal of becoming an effective extension of our clients’ teams. The word “noetic” is related to one’s intellect and thinking. I chose this name for the company because it reflects my team’s commitment to helping clients strategically think through their challenges so that, together, we can take the actions necessary to get to the best possible outcomes. Our clients have included Samsung, PepsiCo, Nike, Marriott, Mayo Clinic and Discovery, Inc. I am also the author of Jack and Jill Went Up the Hill: How Senior Marketers Scale the Heights Through Art and Science, and the creator of the Noetic Art & Science Assessment ™. I am actively involved in many industry, education and community endeavors:

For over 15 years, I’ve had the pleasure of doing brand management and marketing work for companies like Discovery Communications, Best Buy and Target. At Noetic, I’ve directed diverse client projects centered around brand strategy and research, and overseen strategic plan production and planning cycle construction for AT&T’s Business Council and Marriott Brands Portfolio Planning. A Eugene Kummel Scholar, I received my MBA from Yale University. I’m also on the membership board at the Audubon Naturalist Society.

My background in operations and solution oriented approach led me to Noetic, where I focus on financial management and operational excellence to support our mission to provide high-quality client work.

For more than 20 years, I’ve helped businesses accelerate growth through consumer and customer-driven brand strategies. With deep experience in brand positioning, market research, and brand communications, I support organizations on their journeys to build and operationalize their brand strategies. My client-side experience includes brand management roles at Unilever on the Dove masterbrand as well as at Chicago-area health care provider Northwestern Medicine. As a consultant, I have led complex engagements for clients in health care (WellPoint (Anthem), Blue Cross Blue Shield), retail (CVS Pharmacy), professional services (Deloitte), and B2B (ExxonMobil, Grainger). My passion is consumer behavior – how people think and feel about brands – and what this means for business growth.

My roles spanned across sales, marketing, business development and operations. At iHeart Media and Time Inc., I was responsible for transforming these established, iconic companies in a dynamic media landscape. I specialize in executing cross-functional initiatives including corporate branding, client solutions, creative ideation, marketing operations, project management and event strategy. As a consultant for Noetic, my passion is building relationships and empowering our clients through custom solutions that drive results.
